A northbound hike along the divide on the east side of Rt 83 between Missoula and Kalispell. Dave’s big goal for this trip was to explore Grizzly Basin, the big remote drainage south-east of Sunday Mountain. He did a significant amount of bush-whacking and ridge walking on this trip - repeating the route exactly will be difficult and will depend on vague clues about horizon lines and topographical features that may only be visible when on the ground.
